Why we need you...

Poetry Community Christian School is a fully accredited private school serving students in K-12th grades. The school, located in rural Poetry, Texas, serves a diverse group of families primarily from the middle to lower-middle income brackets.  Families come to PCCS from many local communities, including Rockwall, Caddo Mills, Royse City, Terrell, Kaufman, Forney, Fate, Balch Springs, Leonard, Crandall, Mesquite, Rowlett, Greenville, Quinlan, Scurry, and Poetry. The school was established in 2002 and celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2022.

To make tuition more affordable and encourage parent involvement, PCCS implemented an innovative "Parent Partnership Program." In this program, parents work at least 5 hours per month for each student enrolled. This leads to more than 1500 parent hours per month to support school operations and keep overhead down.  Since most of our families come from the middle to lower-middle income brackets, this lower tuition enables them to send their children to a Christian school.

While our affordable tuition structure and conservative fiscal management keep PCCS solvent, PCCS is not a wealthy school. Our lower tuition does not offer monies necessary for campus improvements or development, technology and computer system upgrades, or financial aid or needy and qualifying students.

That's where donations and fundraising play a role!  We need your support to provide needed campus improvements! (see below). Please consider a tax-deductible donation -- your contribution will be used wisely.
