The vision of Poetry Community Christian School is to (i) prepare students to be responsible and Christ-centered members of the community by partnering with parents in developing Christian character and academic proficiency, (ii) manage resources responsibly, (iii) continually enhance learning opportunities within a small-school setting, (iv) promote a nurturing and challenging academic environment, and (v) offer reasonable tuition rates to encourage economic diversity in enrollment.

There is one God who created our world.  We acknowledge the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ is God’s Son, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died to atone for the sins of human kind.  Jesus Christ arose from the grave, ascended into Heaven and has provided salvation for those who believe on Him.  The Bible is God’s Holy guidance for our lives.  Christian believers are to live in accordance with God’s commandments and to proclaim the gospel to all the world.  The two greatest commandments are:  “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind,” and “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Matthew 22:37-39.  “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16.
